No. 18248 Two Pin Vertical Bend Tester This tester is designed for three or four point bend testing, with the bending force applied vertically. The outside surface of the bend remains at a fixed height during bending, allowing it to remain in focus under the microscope. Contact MTI Instruments
For observing the effects of stress on a sample in an SEM, SPM or LM. Jaws move in opposite directions to minimize movement of area of interest. Available with up to 2,000 lb (900Kg) maximum load. Specimen working distance unaffected in most models.
Optional accessories are available to perform compression bending, heating, cooling and other tests. Tested materials include metals, ceramics, polymers, paper, pasta, animal hide, hair, wood, carbon fibers, composites, concrete and cardboard.
