This unique system, based on the Bernoulli principle, disperses fluids onto a substrate in a fine uniform layer. Reproducible amounts of fluids are drawn into special capillary tubes, inserted into the plastic pipette and dispersed without danger of coagulation or droplet formation. Uses include: coating SEM specimens with anti-static solution and dispersing suspended particles. Includes refill, valve and nozzle assembly, two sizes of capillary tubes, and plastic pipettes. The viscous shear in plastic technique requires only a few milligrams of sample. This system produces mounts with a selection of particle concentrations on a single specimen grid. Useful for light microscopy, electron microscopy, or electron diffraction. Instructions included for making dispersions of many types and size ranges.
