Depending on the camera used, the signal output is either the standard RS-170 video signal or a 12 bit digital signal. Other video inputs such as pointers, cursors, crosshairs and measuring scales can be superimposed on the image. Systems are available with high resolution cooled CCD cameras and single crystal YAG detectors. They can also use the Dage CCD-72 series cameras. A movable beam stop is available for use with electron diffraction patterns.
The CCD Imaging System can be user-installed in minutes. It does not interfere with normal use or operation of the microscope, nor does it require any permanent alterations.
